James 3: 13-15

"Who is wise and understanding among you? Let him show it by his good life..."

We have an unlimited amount of 'wisdom' from the world today. I admit that I am sometimes a sucker for magazines that offer their advice to women every where, and SO many, including myself, buy into it. We treat these unimportant words as if they will make or break things for us. And I think the reason they are so popular are because they are how to make things better for us now, and make our life seem more glamorous. When we put things like this at a higher priority than God's wisdom, we are being completely selfish. Worldly wisdom gives our life a boost now, but God's wisdom is truly the best for us. It might make our life difficult and testing, but through it all we are gaining faith and wisdom from God.

Such 'wisdom' does not come down from Heaven, but is earthly, unspiritual, of the devil.

It's sometimes scary to think just how sinful the world we live in really is. We can't rely on it even though most of the time it gives us an easy way out... Psalms 119:130 says "The entrance of your words gives light; it gives understanding to the simple." God's love and wisdom will guide us through life so we can live with Him eternally. :) Have a great night girls!
